The Staff in Year1 this year are Mrs Meakin (KS 1 Lead)  supported by Mrs Niewiadomski, Mrs Cooper and Mrs Pointon.

Class Saint is St. Isidore.

Year 1 chose St Isidore as their class saint because he believed that looking after God’s world was one way of thanking God for all He had created. St Isidore was kind to everyone he met and always tried to help others. He was also caring, especially towards the animals and the land he worked on.

The children in Year 1 want to follow his example by being kind, caring, and looking after God’s beautiful world every day.

Saint day – 15th May

On the feast day of the class saint, the class will hold a special celebratory day. They will have a non-uniform day, lead a special school assembly and have a celebration in the afternoon.
